What do you do when you want to share video files but you’re stuck using the limited – but free – internet access provided by Facebook’s Free Basics and Wikipedia Zero? These allow emerging market users to surf the social media giant and the online encyclopaedia for free, but are very limited offerings with mostly text-based services. Until an ingenious bunch of Angolan internet pirates worked out how to hijack the system and share video files – all for free.
