With the relative failure of the LG G4 (undeserved, in my opinion), the South Korean electronic manufacturer knew it had to change course with the LG G5. While some of its changes signify a catering to the masses – bye, back volume buttons; hello, iPhone like all metal body – LG also incorporated some bold changes that keeps them very much the outlier phone on the market. Whether or not the LG G5 can break the company out of its slump remains to be seen, but what I do know is I respect the phone for trying something new.
