Fallout 4’s Automatron DLC is here, offering off a solid start to Bethesda’s Fallout 4’s DLC schedule. It offers a certain balance between story and sandbox: there are new missions to deal with, a new villain to confront and some new areas to explore, but those things are only as important as the robust robot customization Automatron introduces. And, naturally, such abilities make me want to build the baddest bot I can to continue my reign of terror throughout the commonwealth. It should be noted that there is, of course, no single best robot. It’s all about what compliments your play style best, and what you want to have travelling around with you. My souped-up, Final Judgement wielding, X-01 clad sole survivor is basically an invincible superhero, so he doesn’t really need the extra punch from a nasty robot companion. But I’m going to give him one anyway.
