We are a very long way from $500. Microsoft just announced a limited time $50 price cut for the Xbox One, bringing the official base price down to $299. The sale starts on March 20th. Two days later, we also get a suite of digital game deals that Major Nelson says will go as high as 60%, with steeper deals for Xbox Live Gold members. They’re calling it a spring sale.
