Considering the Japanese origins behind Star Wars, Bandai’s choice to hire Takayuki Takeya to depict classic characters from the series in samurai armor was and still is a stroke of total genius. Like many, I grew up on the old Kenner figures but these new Meisho Movie Realization toys from Bandai are just great.
