I’ve been on the road a lot lately, and have noticed that postcards remain pretty popular. They still occupy spinning stands in gift shops and hotel lobbies. And I’ve even noticed that some hotel rooms still have them in the desk drawer. It’s kind of refreshing nostalgia for a culture that’s generally turned to instant messaging and Facebook posts, when people want to show off where they’re traveling.
