Big news today: after years of impassible barriers between Xbox Live and Playstation Network, Microsoft just extended what sure felt like an open invitation to Sony and the PS4. ID@Xbox director Chris Charla wrote a release on the Xbox News wire about cross play between Xbox One and Windows 10, but he didn’t stop there. Cross play between other platforms would be great too, he said, and many people interpreted that to mean “the PS4.”
