LzLabs claims that more than 3000 of the world’s largest companies have no escape from expensive and outdated application architectures (many of them mainframe), which still power 70% of the world’s commercial transactions. Being able to ‘describe and define’ a new breed of IT power through software-defined computing could form part of the answer as we look for a new more cost effective approach.
