OK, I'm really showing my age here but I have no idea what this whole Minecraft game is… but my son loves it. He can play it for hours on our iPad.

Lately, he has been watching YouTube videos of these guys who somehow are playing a StarWars version of Minecraft. Here is a link to one of their videos:

Google searching for Minecraft StarWars has led me into this black hole of stuff I don't understand… skins, mods, etc.

From what I can gather the ipad is not the best platform to do this on, but I don't know where to go.

Here is what I have to work with…

iPad 2

an old desktop computer (5 years old)

XBox 360 that has never been connected to the internet

I would love it if someone could walk me through how to get a version of this up and running for him.
