As Android Phone Profits Dwindle, Are We Heading Toward Future Of Only iPhone and Chinese Phones?

Last month I wrote about how the LG G5 is going to be South Korean electronic manufacturer LG’s “all in” move, because the company’s mobile division had a disastrous 2015 and face pressure from not just in-country rival Samsung, but Chinese original equipment manufacturers as well. In fact, my worries extend beyond LG, but the entire Android market in general, because a whopping 94 percent of all smartphone profits go to Apple, despite iPhones taking up just 14 percent of global phone sales. Apple’s dominance is due to the fact that it can charge more for their phones while every other Android out there are competing with each other, including price points.
