Having started my career in high-end restaurants, I took a different path than most into the data and analytics space. So, when people pose the question, ?What makes a business data-driven?? I think back to those early days. The success and failure of a high-end restaurant depends on three basic principles: (1) get aligned, (2) fail fast, and (3) be agile. These same principles can help lead other organizations to analytics and business success.
