XCOM 2 is one of those games that both reels you in and leaves you feeling a bit empty by the end. Much of what the previous game and its excellent expansion did, XCOM 2 does better. But in some ways, it feels like a step backward. In others, the game feels like more of the same—including more of the same frustrations.
