Twitter has once again hit the nerve of its user community by apparently looking to switch to an algorithmic timeline, some report as early as next week. The last time Jack Dorsey causes an uproar was when he hinted that the Twitter 140 character limit was to be increased to 10,000. At Forbes, I wrote how this wasn’t actually a bad idea when you dig beneath the surface. However the timeline switch is an entirely different affair and here’s why.
