New York is a mess, but it can be fun. Ubisoft is holding a closed beta for it’s long awaited pseudo MMO The Division this weekend. It’s got a lot of promise, from the vexing but intriguing Dark Zone, to the flexible class system, to the beginnings of what look like a pretty dynamic world. I’m currently a little worn on Destiny, and I’ll be eagerly picking this one up to see if it can trigger that dopamine reaction I need so badly in my loot based games. But this is an MMO, and any MMO is measured by its longevity. It seems silly to think about this when we’ve only seen a smidgen of the game for a few hours, but there’s reason to be concerned.
