VMware Earnings: Stock Plunges After Soft Q1 Guidance

VMware announced its fourth quarter earnings on January 27, reporting 10% annual growth in net revenues to $1.87 billion.  In line with the company’s expectations, license booking revenues were up by 6% on a year-over-year basis to $825 million, while services revenues rose by about 13% to $1.04 billion. The company’s net revenues were up by over 13% on a constant currency basis, with significant growth coming from the Asia-Pacific region.
