This week, The Flash and Arrow returned to The CW, and Legends of Tomorrow made its debut. The spin-off combines value-added elements from both shows, and turns them into their own superteam, a new “third pillar” of the DC TV universe spawned by Arrow, bolstered by The Flash and which may include Supergirl or Gotham, depending on who you ask.
