There are now 116 corporate accelerators around the world.  2015 was a tremendous year for accelerator launch activity with 45 new launches taking place. This is almost double the 26 launches seen in 2014. Asia had strong launch activity with 13 new accelerators in 2015. These came from banks, insurance companies and technology firms who are looking for digital business models and new market entry.
