Far Cry Primal takes a bold step in a new direction and for them it is paying off. I played the demo at Sony’s PlayStation experience and before this demo I had my doubts, now… not so much. Ignoring the old argument that Far Cry Primal looks like another Far Cry game (the same argument could be made about every franchise game ever…), this takes us into a very well fleshed out world that we’ve almost never gotten to explore in video games before. You play as the first human being to ever tame beasts making you part of the very beginnings of civilization.
