Ah, the hype train. It’s the sort of engine  where you can wander on out of sheer curiosity, then find yourself a half dozen stops away and holding a $60 ticket before you even realize what’s happened. Nobody’s immune, no matter how much we want to think we are. Right now, I’m thinking about that hype train because I’m taking a step back to think a bit about No Man’s Sky, the Sony-sponsored indie space exploration title on PS4 that’s been slowly building one of the biggest hype trains in the industry.
