Fujifilm has made great strides over the past few years in cornering a sizable share of the professional market in compact mirrorless cameras. Beloved by enthusiasts and pros alike for stunning images and beautiful retro design, the Fujifilm X-range has been slightly hampered by having a image sensor that maxes out at 16-megapixels. Now the announcement of a brand new sensor with 24-megapixels puts Fuji on a similar footing with the likes of Nikon, Canon and Sony.
