YouTube stardom is not, and never has been, an easier road to fame than the Hollywood path. And like Hollywood stars who were plucked from from the constellation of contenders, big-time YouTubers generally feel grateful for the good fortune that coalesced with their work. So it makes sense that they want to give back in the same ways.
