London is currently enjoying its reputation as the fastest growing FinTech hub in the world. With its entrepreneur friendly start-up ecosystem the city has helped to push the envelope and drive innovation, disruption and change this year, most notably in the international remittance markets, where Transferwise has achieved the fabled “unicorn” status (a valuation of $1 billion) whilst a host of others, like Azimo and The Money Cloud, are making significant strides.
