Whether it’s leaving a beer for Santa and a carrot for Rudolph on Christmas Eve, making New Year’s resolutions, or year-end “Best Of” lists, this time of year is filled with traditions. One of my favorites is hearing the predictions of tech leaders for the year ahead. Which is why, a few weeks ago, I was pleased to speak with Emil Eifrem, the CEO of Neo Technology. Neo is the maker of the Neo4J graph database and I spoke with Eifrem about his industry predictions for 2016. We were in complete agreement that the year will likely be a big one for graph technology – but we had different perspectives on why we think that is so likely to occur.
