The Witcher 3 is a fun, beautiful, lonely game. Though Geralt’s story intersects with dozens of lively NPCs, more fleshed out than their counterparts in other RPGs, most of his travels are alone with only his horse, Roach, at his side. You’ll fight with many of your allies (most notably at an enormous battle at Kaer Morhen), but after that? Everyone more or less goes their separate ways.
