Google is the world’s go-to search engine, and so its year-end rankings of the most popular searches is a great barometer to understand what people were most interested in any given year. In 2015, music was as popular as ever on the site, and yesterday, the tech giant released the names and songs that trended the most, meaning that they might not have accrued the highest number of total searches, but that were immensely popular for a period of time, showing some significance.
