We do things a bit differently over here in Great Britain. For instance, we put milk in our tea, we drink warm beer, we wear pants under our trousers and we like our hi-if to sound a bit different. In fact, in recent years a number of hi-fi manufacturers have caught on to this little peculiarity and have begun producing audio equipment with a particularly British sound or tuning. The popularity of these British versions of audio equipment haven’t just stayed on these islands; Brit-tuned hi-if has proved popular on mainland Europe where the warmer and more musical sound of our home-grown hi-if has found many fans.
