Pinterest said on Tuesday that it is buying two startups, The Hunt and Pext, to improve its ability to show relevant “pins” to users and boost mobile shopping on the platform. Over the past few months, Pinterest has been focused on expanding the number of “buyable pins” on its service and on growing its user base internationally.
