The Android 6.0 update for the Mi 4 and Mi Note smartphones will be rolled out soon, according to Xiaomi’s MIUI operations manager, who made the revelation in a Weibo post today.

This would make both these handsets the first Xiaomi devices to get Marshmallow. It was also revealed that the update won’t bring a new iteration of the Chinese company’s MIUI interface, which means its version would stay at 7.

This comes just a day after Microsoft released the Windows 10 ROM for the LTE variant of the Mi 4 smartphone.
