Recently, I’ve been particularly struck by H2O.ai as another company that has cropped up to propose elegant solutions to enable the productization of open source or machine learning applications. H2O.ai applies engineering and computer science in order to make machine learning in the popular and easy-to-use R language industrial-strength. What do I mean by industrial strength? Well, making R scalable so that it can actually meet the needs of businesses but also adding the missing componentry that make it easy to create a recurring pipeline of applications.
