Supergirl is in kind of an odd place at the moment. The show has debuted ahead of Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice, which is the next chapter in the big screen adventures of her cousin, Superman, and one that has nothing to do with her, considering the DC movie and TV universes are entirely separate.
