I’ve been living with AppleTV for about two weeks now and the dedicated app store has finally started to pick up steam and go beyond the much-touted apps of Periscope and pals.  First off, let’s be clear, someone is asleep at the wheel at Apple.  There are some truly awful apps available but there is also a fair amount of really interesting apps that hint at larger trends to come.  I’ve ignored shopping as this is a somewhat obvious area of disruption but it’s clear that Apple has some pretty solid plans to get you staying in more:
