Just a few days after it went on sale in the US, the new ‘consumer version’ Gear VR headset is already sold out at third party retailers – while Best Buy is now listing the device as ‘sold out online’, Amazon says it’s ‘temporarily out of stock’.
However, those planning to purchase the $99 headset aren’t completely out of luck as they can still head to the South Korean company’s US website to purchase it. It’s also worth mentioning that T-Mobile has also confirmed it’ll begin carrying the device through its stores later this month.
The company is “working hard to fulfill all orders as quickly as possible,” a Samsung spokesperson said.
The headset also recently went up for pre-orders in Europe, where Germany became the first country where Samsung has the device listed on its local website – price tag is 99 and shipping timeline is early December.
