Rise of the Tomb Raider is currently caught in awkward success limbo, debuting with high marks from critics, but being completely overshadowed by the monster that is Fallout 4, released on the very same day. I liked the game, as I did its predecessor, and I think it’s brought both Tomb Raider as a series and Lara Croft as a character into the modern era very, very well.
