T-Mobile Launches New Video Service In Defiance Of Net Neutrality

T-Mobile just threw down the gauntlet in the ongoing net neutrality debate. According to an announcement from President and CEO John Legere, starting this Sunday the company will begin offering users free streaming of select video content. T-Mobile customers who are subscribers to HBO, Netflix, Hulu, or SHOWTIME, among others, will all be able to stream video without chewing through their high-speed data allowance. The catch? In a subtle challenge to net neutrality, T-Mobile will only offer free streaming from select providers.
