Reliable leaksters reject recently-rumored HTC One X9 specs, indicate it’s a mid-range phone

Recently, a few key specs of the rumored HTC One X9, which is said to carry a model number of E56, leaked online – including QHD display, 4GB RAM, 64GB/128GB internal memory, 23MP/4MP camera combo, 3,500mAh battery, and Snapdragon 820 SoC or Mediatek’s deca-core Helio X20 chipset – indicating a high-end device.

However, reliable leaksters like @LlabTooFeR and @evleaks have rejected these specs. Following are some tweets from the former:

On the other hand, while rejecting the recently-reported specs, @evleaks revealed that the smartphone is in fact powered by a Mediatek SoC, sports a 5.5-inch FHD display, and packs in a 3000mAh battery. Memory is 2GB/16GB, while 13MP/4UP camera-combo is on-board.
