Chinese billionaire Jia Yueting raised a few eyebrows last year when he announced that his video company Leshi would start to make electric vehicles. Now Jia is following through on his plan by backing a mysterious Gardena, California-based startup that aims to churn out the next luxury electric car by 2017.
