“We experienced inspiration as a liability when we were working in games,” Michaël Samyn tells me over email. Samyn and his partner Auriea Harvey, otherwise known as Tale of Tales, were supposed to have retired from game development earlier this year after disappointing sales of Sunset, their last and most ambitious game about a house cleaner helping a rich artist keep up appearances during a political revolution.
