Microsoft has gotten lots of positive attention for its innovative Surface Book 2-in-1 convertible device. Though it is thin and light, the Surface Book packs in some relatively high-end, bleeding edge hardware, like an Intel Skylake processor and fast solid state storage; some models also feature discrete NVIDIA graphics when the Surface Book’s “clipboard” (i.e. the tablet portion) is docked into the keyboard. The materials and build quality of the Surface Book are also top notch.
