Pinewood studios near London, England is something of an icon for movies. Star Wars: The Force Awakens was shot here. It’s also home to James Bond to some extent, offering one of the few sound stages at Pinewood to have a “name” rather than a letter designation.The Albert R. Broccoli 007 Stage was first built in 1976, burnt down a couple of times, and was rebuilt just after Casino Royale wrapped. In the books and movies James Bond doesn’t have connections to many physical things, but the pairing of 007 and Pinewood is a strong one.
