This theory revolves around Luke Skywalker’s total absence from any trailers thus far. Part of that absence is Dark Knight-style marketing, as Scott Mendleson points out, but there could be something else to it. People are thinking that Abrams is keeping Luke back because they’ve turned him into a villain for the new trilogy.
