Backwards compatibility is something of a coup for Xbox owners in November: an unexpected announcement at E3 and entire back-catalog of Xbox 360 games available for Xbox One owners. Could a similar project be in the works for Sony’s PS4? Don’t count on it. In the past, Sony has been pretty clear that the PS3’s unique architecture would make backwards compatibility nearly impossible, but that doesn’t stop people from asking. During a recent AMA on Sony’s french Twitter account, somebody asked Sony Head of Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida if the feature would be at all a possiblity. He responded simply: “no.”
