In the past two years, the LGBTQ community in the US has had cause for celebration.  And if you live in New York and the San Francisco Bay Area, chances are you have witnessed the celebration. Still, most of the world is so far behind, it’s shocking.  Even more shocking if you consider the numbers.  In 75 countries — with a combined population of 2.8 billion people — same sex acts are illegal. In five countries, it’s punishable by death.  In other words, there are places today where love is not just illegal, but potentially lethal.
