Maybe I’m naive to think that some semblance of privacy remains in my digital life. Sure, I know I’m getting cookied on nearly every site I visit, and that data is being shared with who knows how many online marketers. And, yes, nearly every product or service I search on Google will invariably surface as a display or text-based ad on random sites repeatedly for weeks to come. (The travel and hospitality industries seem especially invasive in this regard.)
