Former Microsoft CEO and billionaire Steve Ballmer purchased a 4% stake in Twitter over the past several months, boosting Twitter’s stock nearly 5% on Friday.

Ballmer, who now owns the Los Angeles Clippers basketball team, announced his Twitter stake on Friday in a tweet, praising the microblogging site for becoming “leaner” and “more focused.” “Glad I bought 4% past few months,” his tweet says, giving a shout out to CEO Jack Dorsey. A spokesperson for the Clippers also confirmed Ballmer’s Twitter stake with FORBES. His stake is valued at about $800 million.
