Some digital strategy folks take a technology-first view, but I’ve learned you can’t go wrong if you design experience through customer eyes. This approach forces one to be far more needs-based throughout an entire journey, versus trends-focused, business-driven or platform-biased, none of which inherently have the end-user as a priority.
