Here’s A Sneak Peek At LinkedIn’s Redesigned Flagship App

More than half of weekly engagement on LinkedIn happens on its mobile flagship app, according to the professional network. And the company has taken note.

LinkedIn’s main app has gone through a much-needed overhaul and should be available to users within a few weeks, LinkedIn’s CEO Jeff Weiner said on Wednesday. The professional network has been working for several months on the revamped version, which will feature a sleeker, simpler design with five main sections: Home, Me, Messaging, My Network and Search. The entire interface is aimed at making communication faster and more casual and expressive. And it has at least one feature that is bound to please: Mobile search is 300% faster on the redesigned app than on the previous app, making the tool LinkedIn’s fastest and smartest search feature to date, Weiner said.
