We knew it was gong to happen at some point. Tess Everis and her “Eververse Trading Company” are coming back to Destiny, and she’s bringing microtransactions with her. Just over a year into the game, Bungie is giving players an option to buy in-game items for real money, a pretty popular monetization strategy for MMOs, but one still generally frowned upon with $60 retail releases. We’re not sure about pricing yet, but they’re going to have to be some flashy emotes indeed to get me to break out my wallet.
