‘Star Wars: Battlefront’ Has One Major Advantage Over ‘Halo 5: Guardians’

If you’re planning on entering into a quasi-religious epic sci-fi shooter this fall, you’ve got two options to pick from: Halo 5: Guardians, and Star Wars: Battlefront. An adaption of one of the most treasured licenses in sci-fi on the one hand, the latest entrant in the always-popular Halo franchise on the other. They’re totally different games in most ways: Battlefront with its 20 v 20 battles but no campaign, Halo with its epic set-pieces and deathmatches. But there’s one other difference that’s important to note here, if only because it’s been such a point of contention. Halo 5: Guardians has eliminated split screen multiplayer in favor of better graphics tech, but if you want, two friends can still play Star Wars: Battlefront on the same TV.
