NASA’s Next Rovers Look Like Blobby Spiders
NASA is developing what could be the next generation of space exploring robots. And these robots are inspired by a baby toy of all things. They are made of cables and rods and are a type of structure known as a tensegrity structure, which gives them some unique properties that make them pretty robust. They kind of look like blobby spiders.
