The Star Wars: Battlefront Beta launched this week, and you know what that means! It’s time to incite the console war and summon the #PCMasterRace evangelists by comparing the graphical fidelity of DICE’s shooter across PlayStation 4, Xbox  One, and PC. Digital Foundry has already crunched the pixels and found them to be lacking on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Specifically, Sony’s console runs the game at 900p (1600 x 900) while Microsoft’s latest hardware only aspires to previous-generation performance with a paltry 720p (1280 x 720). While the highlight of their piece is undeniably the fanboy meltdown that occurs in the comments section, they offer up some level-headed analysis that’s worth the read.
